FAQs for cappers & buyers
How verified track records work, what LIVE · awaiting and locked picks mean, pricing, Discord, Whop — and how to read a board without trusting screenshots alone.
For cappers & tipsters
Selling picks on Whop or Discord? Here’s how VouchWager turns your log into a public, locked track record buyers can audit.
What is VouchWager?
VouchWager is software for sports betting pick-sellers (cappers) and tipster communities. You log picks with odds and stake, optionally link a real game, and VouchWager publishes a public board with LIVE open picks, auto-grade from official scores on linked markets, permanently locked results, ROI and yield stats, and optional Discord win posts. It is built for Whop communities and Discord groups — not a sportsbook.
Who is VouchWager for?
Whop communities that sell pick access and need proof of results; Discord tipster groups that want locked records and automatic win broadcasts; and solo handicappers building a public reputation. It is not for anyone who wants losses to stay invisible — settled picks stay on the board forever.
How do I get started?
Sign in with Whop (no card required for the free trial when the trial is live), create your community tracker, and log your first pick. Your public board lives at vouchwager.com/{your-slug}. You can also try the full interactive demo at /try with no signup.
How does the free trial work?
New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full product access and no credit card required to start. After the trial you may have a short grace period; once that ends, logging new picks is locked until you subscribe. Your public board and already-settled history remain part of the product story you built.
How much does VouchWager cost?
Public pricing is a 14-day free trial, then Founding at $49/month for the first 10 communities (50% off locked for life messaging on the site), and Pro at $99/month once founding seats are gone. Billing runs through Whop. Annual options may appear when checkout links are configured. Cancel anytime per Whop subscription terms.
How do I log a pick?
From the dashboard, open log pick, choose a real fixture when you can (or free-text), select a market such as moneyline, spread, or total, enter American or decimal odds and stake, then submit. Linked open picks can show LIVE · awaiting on the public board until the game grades.
What does LIVE · awaiting mean?
LIVE · awaiting means the pick is open and visible on the public board before it is settled. Buyers see the selection, odds, and stake while the game is still in play or before grading. Once the result is set (auto or manual), the pick moves to WIN, LOSS, or VOID and locks.
How does auto-grading work?
When you link a pick to a real fixture and a supported market (moneyline, spread, or total on major US sports such as NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL), VouchWager can grade the outcome from third-party official score data after the game finishes — WIN, LOSS, or VOID (push). Free-text or unlinked picks still settle manually. Auto-grade is score-matching, not sportsbook ticket verification.
Can I edit or delete picks?
Settled picks (WIN, LOSS, VOID) never edit or delete — permanently locked. While PENDING: at most one edit per pick for typos. Linked picks cannot be edited or deleted after event start (settle only). Free-text picks without a start time get a 60-minute grace after logging, then settle only. Void is still allowed as a settlement outcome — it is grading, not rewriting history. That stack is the trust contract with buyers.
What if I need a free-text or unlinked pick?
Free-text and unlinked picks are supported when a fixture picker does not fit (props, specials, or games outside linked markets). You settle those manually. They still lock forever once graded, but they are not marked as auto-verified from official scores the way linked markets can be.
How do Discord win broadcasts work?
Connect a Discord webhook in settings. When a pick settles as a win (auto-grade or manual), VouchWager can post a branded embed with selection, odds, stake, and profit into your channel. That keeps paying members engaged and gives lurkers social proof without manual screenshots.
How are ROI, yield, and win rate calculated?
Stats are owned by the database and recomputed from your logged picks — you do not type ROI by hand. Net profit aggregates wins and losses from stake and odds; total staked covers graded win/loss volume; yield is net profit over total staked; ROI is net profit relative to a fixed initial bankroll convention on the platform; win rate is derived from the pick set as defined in product stats. Settled integrity means the numbers follow the locked record.
Which sports and markets are supported for linking?
Linked fixtures and auto-grade focus on major US leagues (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL) with moneyline, spread, and total markets when score data is available. You can still log free-text picks for other sports or market types and settle them manually.
Do I need a Whop account?
Yes for the live product: login and billing go through Whop OAuth and Whop subscriptions. That matches communities already selling access on Whop. The interactive demo at /try does not require an account.
Can I brand my public board?
Yes. Paid plans include custom public-board branding (name, presentation, and related settings in the dashboard). Your shareable URL is vouchwager.com/{slug} so you can drop it in Whop listings, bios, and sales DMs.
Is VouchWager a sportsbook? Does it prove I placed the bet?
No. VouchWager does not accept, place, or broker wagers and does not hold gambling funds. Score-matching a linked market verifies the game result against official scores; it does not currently prove a ticket was placed at DraftKings, FanDuel, or another book. That honesty is part of the product trust model.
What happens when my trial ends?
After the trial (and any grace period), write access to log new picks is locked until you subscribe. Upgrade from the dashboard via Whop checkout. Founding pricing may still be available if seats remain; otherwise standard Pro pricing applies.

What is a VouchWager track record?
A public, read-only page for a community or capper that lists picks with odds, stake, timestamps, and results. Open linked picks can show LIVE · awaiting; settled picks show WIN, LOSS, or VOID and stay locked. Aggregate stats such as ROI, yield, and win rate are computed from that log — not typed in by the seller.
How do I know picks are not cherry-picked?
On VouchWager, settled picks cannot be edited or deleted. A capper cannot quietly remove losers or rewrite winners after the fact. Prefer boards with a long graded sample, both wins and losses visible, and linked games that show LIVE before the final when possible. Still use judgment — a locked log is stronger than a screenshot, not a guarantee of honesty about unlogged action elsewhere.
What does LIVE · awaiting mean on a board?
It means the pick was posted before grading and is still open. You can see the selection and price while the game is ongoing or awaiting settlement. That reduces the classic scam of only posting winners after the final.
What does locked or auto-verified mean?
Locked means the result is permanent on the public record. Auto-verified (or auto-graded) typically means a linked market was matched to official score data. Manual settlements can still lock the same way but were graded by the capper. Neither status by itself proves a sportsbook ticket was placed.
Can cappers delete losing picks on VouchWager?
Not after settlement. Once a pick is WIN, LOSS, or VOID, it is permanently locked. That is the core difference versus spreadsheets and screenshot galleries.
How should I read ROI, yield, and win rate?
Look at sample size (number of graded picks), yield relative to amount risked, ROI as presented on the board, and whether results include both wins and losses. Short hot streaks can look elite. Compare units and odds — high win rate at heavy favorites is not the same as profitable long-shot tickets. Past performance is not a promise of future profit.
Is a strong track record a guarantee I will win?
No. Sports betting outcomes are uncertain; even skilled bettors have losing stretches, and most recreational bettors lose money over time. VouchWager stats are historical records of logged picks, not financial or betting advice. Any decision to buy picks or place a bet is yours alone and at your own risk.
Does VouchWager verify sportsbook tickets?
Not today. VouchWager can score-match linked markets to official finals and lock the recorded result. It does not currently connect to books to prove a ticket was placed or paid. Treat boards as transparent pick logs with structural integrity — not as banked wager receipts.
How do I open a community public board?
Use the link the seller shares. Boards follow vouchwager.com/{community-slug}. If a board is public, you can open it without a VouchWager account and audit picks pick-by-pick.
Does VouchWager sell me picks?
No. VouchWager is record-keeping software. Picks on a board are created by independent cappers and communities, not by VouchWager as advice. Buying access to a tipster is a separate relationship (for example via Whop) between you and that seller.
Who is responsible for my betting decisions?
You are. You must follow the laws in your jurisdiction, bet only if you are of legal age, and never stake money you cannot afford to lose. VouchWager does not place bets for you and is not a gambling operator.
